B B Q Ribs
INGREDIENTS:

Six or eight pork ribs

One clove of garlic (minced)

One medium onion (minced)

Five tablespoons of butter

Two and one half cups of catsup
-
One half cup of dark corn syrup
-
One half cup of honey
-
One half cup of pineapple juice

One third cup of cider vinegar
-
One cup brown sugar (firmly packed)

Two tablespoons spicy mustard
-
Two tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Two teastpoons of salt
-
One tablespoon of chili powder
-
One teaspoon of liquid smoke

One teaspoon of cayenne pepper

One half teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS:
Melt butter in two quart pot. Add onions and garlic. Cook over low heat until onions are soft.
Stir in remainder of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for one half hour, stirring occasionally. Let cool completely. (I like to make the sauce a day ahead of time.)
Place ribs in a pan and apply a generous amount of sauce over ribs. Cover with aluminum foil and place in preheated 190 degreeF oven for nine to ten hours.
Remove from oven and discard drippings. Broil for five to ten minutes.
